Camden Road Pub Crawl

Draft House

Draft House Camden Road

This pub crawl takes us to some of the best pubs in a quieter area of Camden just a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Camden Town, starting at the Draft House, 102-104 Camden Road, NW1 9EA – – which is directly opposite Camden Road overground station.

The nearest underground station is Camden Town. From there, walk up Camden Road and you’ll find the pub on the right, just before you get to the CAMDEN ROAD railway bridge. (If the Kentish Town Road exit from Camden Town underground station is open you can cross straight over into Camden Road, but if you’re using the Camden High Street exit you’ll need to turn left as you leave the station.)

The plan is to move on to The Prince Albert, 163 Royal College Street, NW1 0SG – – at around 8.45, The Constitution, 42 St. Pancras Way, NW1 0QT – – at around 10.00 and then The Colonel Fawcett, 1 Randolph Street, NW1 0SS – – the late-night option, at around 11.15 (it’s open until 1 am and there will be some sort of music upstairs).

However, one of the reasons I’ve planned for four pubs is that we might drop either The Prince Albert or The Constitution depending on the weather. The Prince Albert will work better if we want to be inside as there will probably be more room and The Constitution will work better if we want to be outside as the beer garden overlooks the Regent’s Canal.

I’ll put a message on the site shortly before the event once I can see what’s going to be best for us on the day but, whatever the outcome, we’ll be following the same route i.e. Royal College St., Georgiana St., St. Pancras Way, Randolph St. (from where Rousden St., takes you back to Camden Road).
